Willdabeast is a hybrid-bass project fronted by trumpeter-producer Will Glazier, working with Dan de Lisle on flute, trombone and engineering — live horns played over glitch-hop, downtempo and heavier bass production rather than sampled in after the fact. MusicBrainz places the project's origins in Bellingham, Washington, and the catalogue runs through Gravitas Recordings, Muti Music, Grand Alliance and Superbest, most recently the 2024 album Beneath The Surface. That live-instrument angle is why he keeps turning up on Pacific Northwest livetronica bills: he supports The Polish Ambassador at Nectar Lounge on Nov 13 2026 and plays Cascadia Winter Solstice Weekend in Seattle that December.
Popularity
How this is measured
An absolute, national (US) measure — not a ranking against the other artists on this site. We take the strongest of three open signals: ListenBrainz listens, English Wikipedia pageviews, and the number of Wikipedia language editions that have an article. The strongest one wins, so a signal we couldn't read never drags the result down. Bucket 1 means measured and small. Unrated never means small — it means we don't have the numbers.

What listeners say SAMPLE DATA
Coverage of Willdabeast is limited to single-release announcements on EDM blogs (EDMTunes, V13), which report that a track exists rather than judging it. No listener reviews, set reviews or rating aggregates were reachable, so this is sample data.
