VNV Nation — 'Victory Not Vengeance' — is Ronan Harris's long-running British-Irish electronic project, formed in London in the early 1990s and now run out of Anachron Studios in Hamburg. Harris is credited with helping coin the word 'futurepop' for the sound: EBM's marching low end and industrial grit fused with trance-scale melody and unashamedly earnest lyrics, delivered live by a four-piece that leans hard on crowd interaction. Recent albums have charted in the German top ten and the US Billboard top five by the band's own account, with Electric Sun (2023) and Construct (2025) the most recent studio records. PNW ravers should note the timing: the North American run was postponed twice during 2026, and the rescheduled dates now land at Portland's Revolution Hall on March 23, 2027 and Seattle's Neptune Theatre on March 24.
Popularity
How this is measured
An absolute, national (US) measure — not a ranking against the other artists on this site. We take the strongest of three open signals: ListenBrainz listens, English Wikipedia pageviews, and the number of Wikipedia language editions that have an article. The strongest one wins, so a signal we couldn't read never drags the result down. Bucket 1 means measured and small. Unrated never means small — it means we don't have the numbers.

What listeners say SAMPLE DATA
Show-goers are described as consistent about the live experience - long sets, a frontman who talks to the room rather than at it, and a crowd that spans several subcultures - but those opinions were read second-hand from search-result summaries, not from any readable review, so this stays sample data. The verified part is scheduling, and it matters for ticket buyers: the 2026 North American tour was postponed twice (announced 26 March and 12 July 2026, tied to Ronan Harris's recovery from vascular surgery), festival appearances were postponed in July 2026, and the PNW dates only exist in their current March 2027 form because of that.
