Bass

Tisoki is Bradley Edwards, a British producer who grew up in Wymondham, Norfolk and relocated to Southern California during the pandemic; his debut album 01953 is named after his hometown's dialling code. He built the name on precision-engineered dubstep and riddim, then widened out into UK garage, drum & bass and melodic bass — the 2023 bitbird EP Euphoria, with San Holo and Pauline Herr, is the clearest statement of that turn, and 2025's 'GONE FOR A MINUTE' the return to heavier ground. He plays Portland's REALM PDX on October 17, 2026 supporting Ray Volpe, then headlines Q Nightclub in Seattle on October 23.

Popularity

How this is measured

An absolute, national (US) measure — not a ranking against the other artists on this site. We take the strongest of three open signals: ListenBrainz listens, English Wikipedia pageviews, and the number of Wikipedia language editions that have an article. The strongest one wins, so a signal we couldn't read never drags the result down. Bucket 1 means measured and small. Unrated never means small — it means we don't have the numbers.

76/100

Reviewers rate the craft highly and the consistency less so. Euphoria drew genuine praise for texture, variety and production polish — several writers called it his strongest work — but the more detailed reviews pushed back, judging it a step down from the 01953 album and singling out specific collaborations as awkward, with the sound design on 'Skin' described as goofy and the San Holo track 'a weird mixed bag'. The pattern across coverage is a producer whose technical ability nobody disputes and whose cross-genre reach divides people.

Loved

+ production polish and sound design consistently praised+ genuine range across dubstep, riddim, UK garage and melodic bass+ tracks feel distinct from one another rather than formulaic

Gripes

− post-01953 output judged less cohesive than the album− some collaborations described as awkward or mismatched− the cross-genre spread divides listeners who came for the heavy material
