SABAI is Siraparn Takviriyanan, a Thai-born, Vancouver-based producer who moved to Canada with his family at sixteen and named the project after the Thai word for 'comfortable'. His melodic and future bass is song-first rather than drop-first — big, vulnerable toplines with guest vocalists — and it broke through on Monstercat with 2020's 'Million Days' featuring Hoang and Claire Ridgely, a track he spent eight months and three vocalists getting right. In July 2026 he became one of very few Thai artists ever to play Tomorrowland Belgium. Both PNW dates fall on the same night, December 4, 2026: a support slot at Lost In Dreams Seattle and a Portland headline at REALM PDX billed alongside Hoang, his longest-running collaborator.
Popularity
How this is measured
An absolute, national (US) measure — not a ranking against the other artists on this site. We take the strongest of three open signals: ListenBrainz listens, English Wikipedia pageviews, and the number of Wikipedia language editions that have an article. The strongest one wins, so a signal we couldn't read never drags the result down. Bucket 1 means measured and small. Unrated never means small — it means we don't have the numbers.

What listeners say SAMPLE DATA
Press is warm but thin on actual evaluation: an EARMILK write-up calling 'Million Days' vulnerable and well-constructed, a Relentless Beats 'Rising Star' feature, and coverage of the Tomorrowland milestone. Nothing readable covers his live sets, and the only listener-aggregate signal that surfaced was a RateYourMusic average well below the press tone — too little either way to call a consensus. Treat the figures below as sample data.
