HouseBassScene & Other

OMNOM is a Los Angeles DJ and producer who makes a hypnotic, bass-heavy strain of house - closer to a low-end groove that keeps folding back on itself than to a peak-time drop, which is why he sits comfortably on both tech-house and bass bills. He broke through in 2018 with 'Fo Free' and has since put records out through Dirtybird, Confession, Insomniac Records, Thrive and John Summit's Experts Only. His 2023 collaboration with Brisbane's Odd Mob, 'Losing Control', went to number one on Beatport's overall Top 100, and the two have since turned that partnership into the joint project HYPERBEAM, which kept releasing through 2025 and 2026. A PNW note worth flagging: his Seattle date is on the MV Hiyu, a converted ferry, so that one is a boat party rather than a club room.

Popularity

Unrated

We couldn't confidently match OMNOM to an artist in MusicBrainz, so we won't put a number on them — a score taken from the wrong artist is worse than none.

How this is measured

An absolute, national (US) measure — not a ranking against the other artists on this site. We take the strongest of three open signals: ListenBrainz listens, English Wikipedia pageviews, and the number of Wikipedia language editions that have an article. The strongest one wins, so a signal we couldn't read never drags the result down. Bucket 1 means measured and small. Unrated never means small — it means we don't have the numbers.

What listeners say SAMPLE DATA

⚠ Placeholder — not real reviews. Sample data — these are generated placeholders, not real listener reviews. A sentiment aggregator will replace this section with sourced listener feedback.

No reachable source carries listener or show-goer opinion about OMNOM. What is documented is trade coverage of the HYPERBEAM project with Odd Mob - edm.com, Beatportal, EDMTunes and EDM Identity all covered the 2024-2026 releases - plus main-stage festival bookings at EDC Las Vegas and HARD Summer in 2026. That establishes reach, not reception, so nothing here is a verdict on his sets.
