BassMainstage EDM

Krewella are the sister duo Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf, formed in the Chicago suburb of Northbrook, Illinois in 2007 and one of the defining voices of the early-2010s American EDM boom (founding member Kristopher Trindl left in 2014). Their sound pairs sung, hook-forward songwriting with heavy bass, dubstep and trap drops, and their 2026 output has pushed further into darker, more club-facing territory — the single 'Something Sacred' leaned melodic techno, and 'the blueprint' arrived in August 2026 ahead of a new project. For PNW ravers they are a rare mainstage-scale act playing back-to-back club rooms, hitting Q Nightclub in Seattle and 45 East in Portland in late September 2026.

Popularity

How this is measured

An absolute, national (US) measure — not a ranking against the other artists on this site. We take the strongest of three open signals: ListenBrainz listens, English Wikipedia pageviews, and the number of Wikipedia language editions that have an article. The strongest one wins, so a signal we couldn't read never drags the result down. Bucket 1 means measured and small. Unrated never means small — it means we don't have the numbers.

What listeners say SAMPLE DATA

⚠ Placeholder — not real reviews. Sample data — these are generated placeholders, not real listener reviews. A sentiment aggregator will replace this section with sourced listener feedback.

Available coverage is release-driven rather than opinion-driven. Trade outlets in mid-2026 (edm.com, EDMTunes, Prelude Press) reported the singles 'the blueprint' and 'Something Sacred' and a 2026 San Diego Pride headline slot, but no substantial body of listener or show-goer opinion was reachable from the permitted sources. Treat the figures below as sample data.
