Bass

Jessica Audiffred is a Mexico City DJ and producer and one of very few women headlining mainstage bass music internationally. Her sound is dubstep and riddim with bass-house and Latin threads pulled through it, and her 2025 debut album Rave New World was framed explicitly as a tribute to the early rave nights that pulled her into the scene in the first place. She founded the A Records label in 2016 to give Mexican and Latin American electronic artists a platform, launched Mexico's first bass-focused festival, and plays long - a recent Hollywood date ran three hours. She works the big rooms, so a PNW club booking is a smaller room than she usually gets.

Popularity

How this is measured

An absolute, national (US) measure — not a ranking against the other artists on this site. We take the strongest of three open signals: ListenBrainz listens, English Wikipedia pageviews, and the number of Wikipedia language editions that have an article. The strongest one wins, so a signal we couldn't read never drags the result down. Bucket 1 means measured and small. Unrated never means small — it means we don't have the numbers.

What listeners say SAMPLE DATA

⚠ Placeholder — not real reviews. Sample data — these are generated placeholders, not real listener reviews. A sentiment aggregator will replace this section with sourced listener feedback.

No substantial body of show-goer opinion was reachable. What exists is feature coverage - Forbes, Billboard and Atwood profiles about her rise out of Mexico City, plus trade write-ups of Rave New World - and headlines describing recent sets favourably, but headlines are not reviews. One stray attendee comment surfaced calling the music heavy and the crowd high-energy. That is not enough to build a consensus on, so this is sample data.

Loved

+ repeatedly profiled by major outlets as the leading bass-music artist to come out of Mexico+ known for long extended sets - a recent Hollywood show ran three hours+ debut album Rave New World drew positive trade coverage and produced festival-scale tracks+ runs A Records and a Mexican bass festival, so the booking carries a scene behind it

Gripes

− no live reviews or attendee opinions were reachable - nothing here is a verdict on the set− her material and staging are built for festival mainstages, which may not translate the same way in a club room
