Downtempo & ExperimentalIndie & Alt Electronic

FKJ — French Kiwi Juice — is Vincent Fenton, a French multi-instrumentalist from Tours whose sound sits between nu-jazz, neo-soul and downtempo electronic. He is best known live for performing alone, building tracks in real time by looping saxophone, keys, guitar and bass through Ableton rather than playing a prepared set. His self-titled debut landed in 2017, the Masego collaboration "Tadow" became his breakout, and 2026 brought the album Tyber. A PNW show is closer to watching a producer assemble a record on stage than to a club night.

Popularity

How this is measured

An absolute, national (US) measure — not a ranking against the other artists on this site. We take the strongest of three open signals: ListenBrainz listens, English Wikipedia pageviews, and the number of Wikipedia language editions that have an article. The strongest one wins, so a signal we couldn't read never drags the result down. Bucket 1 means measured and small. Unrated never means small — it means we don't have the numbers.

What listeners say SAMPLE DATA

⚠ Placeholder — not real reviews. Sample data — these are generated placeholders, not real listener reviews. A sentiment aggregator will replace this section with sourced listener feedback.

Press on the 2026 album Tyber and its singles was positive across Clash, Flaunt and FAULT, and the recurring note about the live show is that the one-man looping format is genuinely impressive to watch. Only a small number of first-hand concert reviews were reachable, so this is not scored — but the one substantive live review did raise a mix complaint worth knowing before buying a ticket.

Loved

+ one-man live looping — builds each track on stage across sax, keys, guitar and bass+ unhurried, immersive pacing rather than a peak-time set+ 2026 album Tyber and its singles reviewed positively across music press

Gripes

− a reviewer found his vocals and between-song talk buried in the mix, even from the front rows− the detail of what he is doing with his hands and feet can be hard to see without screens
