dazegxd is an American producer and DJ from Canarsie, Brooklyn, born in 2002 to Jamaican and Ghanaian parents, who started making beats in his bedroom at eleven. He was a prominent figure in the early digicore scene before turning to instrumental club music, and is now more often credited as part of the 2020s jungle revival - his palette pulls in UK garage, deep house, drum and bass, R&B and Jersey club, with acknowledged debts to Moving Shadow, late-night East Coast radio and video-game soundtracks. Three albums anchor the catalogue: 'vKiSS' (2022), 'Girls Love Jungle' with gum.mp3 (2023) and 'Exhibition Mode' (2024), most of it through deadAir Records. He plays the Pacific Northwest in October supporting Jane Remover at Revolution Hall in Portland and the Neptune in Seattle.
Popularity
How this is measured
An absolute, national (US) measure — not a ranking against the other artists on this site. We take the strongest of three open signals: ListenBrainz listens, English Wikipedia pageviews, and the number of Wikipedia language editions that have an article. The strongest one wins, so a signal we couldn't read never drags the result down. Bucket 1 means measured and small. Unrated never means small — it means we don't have the numbers.

What listeners say SAMPLE DATA
Sample data - the reachable coverage is feature and profile writing rather than a body of opinion. The only substantive evaluative line found is The Fader's description of his music as 'playful' and prioritising 'fluidity and vibrancy', cited in his Wikipedia entry; a Google News sweep returned a single item, a 2025 Resident Advisor feature on New York's next-generation club figures. He has no LiveRate page and no aggregated show reviews.
