Classmatic is Frederico Farias, a Brazilian DJ and producer from Tubarao, Santa Catarina, who started DJing as a teenager and producing at eighteen, then picked up the US house scene while living in Las Vegas. His 2022 track 'Toma Dale' with Dominican artist Nfasis, released on Jamie Jones' Hot Creations, was the one that broke him internationally, and releases on Solid Grooves, Cuttin' Headz, Hottrax, elrow Music and Revival New York followed. He runs his own label, Organic Pieces, launched in 2023 as a platform for younger tech house producers. The sound is groove-first Latin-inflected tech house - percussive, vocal-hooked and built for a club, which is where the PNW dates put him.
Popularity
How this is measured
An absolute, national (US) measure — not a ranking against the other artists on this site. We take the strongest of three open signals: ListenBrainz listens, English Wikipedia pageviews, and the number of Wikipedia language editions that have an article. The strongest one wins, so a signal we couldn't read never drags the result down. Bucket 1 means measured and small. Unrated never means small — it means we don't have the numbers.

What listeners say SAMPLE DATA
Sample data - no genuine listener or show-goer opinion could be sourced. What exists is release coverage and lineup announcements: an artist spotlight, a premiere on Electronic Groove, BPM Festival Costa Rica billings and an interview. No reviews of his records or his sets were reachable.
