A Hundred Drums is Gabrielle Watson, a California-raised, Denver-based bass producer and DJ who brought a classical percussion training into dubstep. Her lane is the deep, dubwise, meditative end of the genre rather than the headbang end - she has said plainly that not every track needs an enormous build and drop - with reggae, psytrance and halftime drum-and-bass edges running through it. She has released through Gravitas, Cyclops, Ophelia and Deadbeats, and alongside producing she runs promotional brands pushing for diversity and inclusion in the bass scene.
